Following is a short community-by-community list of some of our on-going and scheduled projects:

Akutan – Current Assisted Stock (CAS) rehabs: Weatherization projects to start by the end of April, 2009.	Nikolski – Septic system and site drainage upgrades.
Atka – Completion of the AHFC Professional Duplex Building and a CAS rehab; beginning Weatherization projects by June, 2009.	Sand Point – Two (2) new Single-Family rental homes funded by American Recovery Act; Weatherization projects by midsummer.
False Pass – New Duplex for Public Safety and Health professionals funded by AHFC.	St. George – Major upgrades to the 6-Plex low rent facility funded by the American Recovery Act; CAS rehabs, and Elder rehab projects.
King Cove – New AHFC funded 4-Plex building for Teachers and Health Professionals. New office building for the Belkofski Tribe; Modernization for three (3) low-rent facilities; Weatherization projects to be underway by the end of April, 2009.	St. Paul – Major upgrades to the 10-Plex low rent and Senior Center facilities funded by the American Recovery Act.
Nelson Lagoon – Completion of AHFC Professional Single-Family Home; Completion of another Single Family Home.	Unalaska – Major CAS and Elder rehabs; Major upgrades to the Unalaska Senior Center.

The Construction Department has remained busy through the winter and now well into summer. In addition to our NAHASDA programs, we are now designing and running projects under Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) Weatherization (Wx) and federal stimulus programs. An exceptionally active year is ahead of us!
